Description

Both Josef and I have been passionate about travel since our early days. Josef's childhood memories revolve around working at his family ski lodge in the Austrian Alps during school holidays. His love for cooking led him to pursue a cooking apprenticeship, which eventually took him overseas to places like New Zealand, Toronto, and Dusseldorf Hilton's. In 1984, Josef settled in Sydney and became the executive chef at the Sebel Townhouse.

Similarly, my travel journey began when I moved from Auckland to Melbourne to work at the St Kilda Road Travelodge. From there, I traveled to Canada, America, Mexico, and Europe. When I returned to Sydney, I pursued my studies in remedial massage, reflexology, and shiatsu, followed by a degree in psychology, and diplomas in counseling, Ayurveda clinical studies, and beauty therapy.

Our passion for hospitality led us to establish Lillypillys in Maleny in 1996, where we have been providing fine food, quality service, and excellence ever since. Our little piece of paradise has been thriving for 23 years, and we still enjoy every moment of it. We invite you to come and experience Lillypillys and be a part of our journey.
