In addition to  the regular year round attractions the Sunshine Coast is also home to some of the countries most exciting events.  With two of the biggest triathlons in the Australian calendar the Mooloolaba (March) and Noosa Triathlons (Oct/Nov) are great sporting events that unite world class athletes and those who dream that they were.

The Sunshine Coast also proudly hosts the Australian PGA Championship at the Hyatt Regency Coolum in December.  As well as world class sporting events the 2009 calendar also boasts Music festivals, surfing festivals and celebrations of food and wine.  Whatever your passion there is certainly something for everyone.
