Glass House Mountains Discovery

Take Steve Irwin Way that links several quaint country towns nestled in the foothills of the Glass House Mountains. There are many places to enjoy walking trails or stop at a roadside stall to sample some local farm fresh produce. Visit the world famous Australia Zoo and get up close to animals from around the globe. Stare in wonder at the majestic Glass House Mountains by driving up to the lookout for the most spectacular view. Visit an old pub in one of the interesting country towns, or picnic in one of the many parks in the area.

Hinterland Discovery

Travel towards Maleny and take in the magnificent views the Blackall Range has to offer. Delight over a Devonshire tea or lunch at a restaurant or café oozing with atmosphere. There are many local wineries and a cheese factory to enjoy. Explore the art galleries, gift shops and many food outlets. There are several lookouts to stop at but make sure not to miss Gerrard’s Lookout for the best panoramic views of the coast. Baroon Pocket Dam, Montville, Flaxton, Gardeners and Kondalilla Falls and the famous Mapleton Tavern are also in the region, not to mention the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk.

Scenic Country & Mary Valley Discovery

Take in the views of the Conondale Valley as you travel from Maleny, down the ranges to Kenilworth. Enjoy some hiking, visit a cheese factory and shop at the historic town of Imbil before visiting the Gold Mining and Woodworks Museum in Gympie. For an experience not to be missed, be sure to take a ride on the Valley Rattler steam train. Coastal Discovery

Start your drive in Caloundra and visit some of the world’s best beaches including Kings, Moffat, Dicky, Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headland, Maroochydore, Coolum, Sunshine and last but not least Noosa Main Beach.
