What we liked & didn’t like
The rides at Aussie World offer various levels of thrills. Mild, moderate and high thrill rides offer most people a choice. There are activites available for those who don’t care for rides at all. Foot-long hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh sandwiches amd fish and chips are always available for a fast food meal. Ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes provide a convenient snack. Thrill seekers who love fast and furious rides will be happy. Milder rides are available for the more faint at heart. Young children’s amusement is well accommodated with rides like the Tin Lid’s Tea Party ride and Tyke’s Trolley. Splashy, wet fun like the Giant Slide and Water Wars are great for cooling off on a hot day.
Although queues are normally short, there will be some waiting in line that may make little ones antsy. Adults who merely want to watch a group of kids may get frustrated at having to pay the same price as someome who wants to ride all the rides. The park does make safety a number one issue, so some disappointments may come up when a few of the rides may be closed for inspection and maintenance. Those with fairly minor health issues like high blood pressure, back problems or pregnant women may not have the greatest of holiday experiences at Aussie World. Food is a bit pricey and the menu is limited. Since no food is allowed to be brought in, those with special diets and others may prefer a park with a picnic area.
